EFT and stress management: a simple method to find your emotional balance

Stress is part of our daily life, but when it becomes too invasive, it can impact our mental and physical well-being. What if a gentle and accessible method allowed to free it? The EFT ( Emotional Freedom Technique ), still unknown to the general public, is a powerful technique that helps to appease negative emotions in a few minutes.

What is EFT?

EFT, or "emotional liberation technique", is a psychocorporeal method that combines acupressure and energy psychology. It consists in gently tapping certain points of the body while verbalizing its feelings. This practice makes it possible to: Reduce anxiety and stress, alleviate emotional blockages, improve emotional management, promote immediate and lasting appeasement.

How does EFT work?

The EFT is based on the idea that negative emotions are linked to an energy imbalance. By stimulating specific points of the body (similar to those used in acupuncture), energy is allowed to circulate freely and release emotional tensions.

Here is a type of 4 steps:

  1. Identify emotion or problem : stress, fear, anxiety ...
  2. Evaluate its intensity on a scale of 1 to 10.
  3. Tap a series of points while expressing what you feel ("even if I feel stress, I accept myself deeply").
  4. Observe the changes and repeat if necessary until a decrease in intensity.
